Michael K.
Fultz has been a Westerville resident for nearly 50 years and joined
the board in August 2006. He brings more than 30 years experience in
municipal government, as well as legal expertise, to the board. He is a
current member and past president of the Westerville Library Foundation
board.
Mike is an attorney with Metz, Bailey and McLoughlin
in Westerville, specializing in business formation, estate planning,
probate and litigation. He also serves as the prosecutor in the
Westerville Mayor’s Court. He is a graduate of Westerville South High
School, earning his law degree at Capital University Law School and an
MBA from The Ohio State University.
Prior to entering the
practice of law, Mike served for 27 years as a firefighter in the
Columbus Division of Fire. While there, he served on Governor Taft’s
Homeland Security Strategic Planning Committee, Mayor Coleman’s
Security and Preparedness Committee, the MORPC Terrorism Committee, the
Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Terrorism Committee, and various emergency medical
committees. He retired as a Battalion Chief and the official
spokesperson of the Columbus Fire Department. Mike was one of
Westerville’s original paramedics.
