John E. Robbins, appointed to the Library Board in January 2005 for a seven-year term, brings with him a wealth of Board experience. John served as a Library Board member from 1992 to 2001. During his first appointment John served as president in 1998, vice president in 1997, was a member of each of the Board’s standing committees, and participated in the long range plan that paved the way for the 1997 expansion to the library facility.

A longstanding and active member of the Westerville community, John has served on the boards of directors of the Westerville Fund, Concord Counseling Service, Professional Insurance Agents of Ohio, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Westerville Chamber Foundation. He has also served as an Elder and Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville. John is committed to the long term growth and welfare of the Library, the best interests of our patrons and a serious sense of responsibility to our taxpayers. Your Library Board members are always interested in the comments and suggestions of their customers.
