Review all varieties of ACT-type questions with the necessary theory and strategies, then work out and review solutions for additional questions in a timed setting. General and section-specific test taking tips will also be provided. This is an intensive and fast-paced seminar that spans over 13 hours on 4 consecutive Saturdays, presented by Dr. Srinath Sampath, from PrepAccelerator
Each session is close to the exact length of the ACT on test day and covers a different topic, including all sections required by the ACTs: English, Math, Reading and Science (plus the optional Writing section).
January 6: ACT Overview and English
January 13: Mathematics I
(Pre-Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra)
January 20: Mathematics II
(Coordinate Geometry, Plane Geometry, Trigonometry) and Writing
January 27: Reading, Science and General Test-Taking Tips
You can register for each session individually. Attendance at all 4 sessions is not required. Bring a notebook, writing instruments, clipboard and a calculator. (Note: The writing section is only 30 minutes.)

These sessions are appropriate for high school juniors gearing up for the free, state-sponsored ACT sitting offered by all Ohio high schools in February/March 2018, and for motivated freshman and sophomores interested in getting a head start on their ACT preparations. About Srinath Sampath
Dr. Sampath is the founding partner of PrepAccelerator, a Columbus-based tutoring and education service that helps students prepare for standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP Modules, and SAT Subject Tests.
Dr. Sampath has a PhD in Statistics from The Ohio State University, where he has earned both teaching and research awards for his work. He has an extensive background in quantitative finance, computer science and data science, and has won national and international awards for his statistical research. Dr. Sampath is a CFA(r) Charterholder, and has spent over a decade as an investment portfolio manager, with a focus on both fixed income and equities. He currently serves as managing director and portfolio manager at a Columbus based registered investment advisory firm.
A regular volunteer with the Columbus non-profit community, Dr. Sampath has served as president and trustee of Actors' Theatre of Columbus ("Shakespeare in Schiller Park") and as treasurer and board member of the Columbus International Program.
