Tunes & Tales  (Sensory Friendly)

Hop along as the Westerville Symphony performs and a librarian narrates a musical rendition of The Frog Prince.
Specifically designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families, this session of Tunes & Tales invites children with varying learning styles and abilities to come together in a safe, supportive environment to enjoy music and stories.
After the performance, get up close and personal with the musicians as the orchestra invites the audience on stage for an instrument meet and greet, encouraging questions and giving hands-on demonstrations.
For ages 3-8 and their families. Each family will receive a copy of the book Prince Ribbit, while supplies last. Note: Registration is required for every attendee.
About the Composer
This year's music is an original composition arranged by award-winning composer and Cedarville University professor, Dr. Steven Winteregg. Principal Tubist with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, many of his compositions are performed around the world. Learn more.

A partnership between the Westerville Symphony and the Westerville Public Library, Tunes & Tales has been a Westerville tradition for over 30 years, pairing music with stories to introduce thousands of children to the world of music in an interactive and engaging way.
