2010 Celebrate the Arts Writing Contest: Winners Announced

The Arts Council of Westerville, the Westerville Public Library and the Suburban News Publications invited participants of all ages to submit original work for consideration. This writing contest is one of many events organized by the Arts Council to mark April as “Celebrate the Arts” month in Westerville.

Category: Grades K-2

1st Place: Our Snowy Vacation by Conner Peters
2nd Place: The Adventures of My Brother, My Cousin, and I by Hannah Marty
3rd Place: The Cat in the Fish Tank by Max Chambers
Honorable Mention: The Magic Ice Sculpture by Dilara Sen

Category: Grades 3-5

1st Place: Return of the Gingerbread Man by Brant Henson
2nd Place: The Light and the Bug by Mya Jarju
