Gaming Room

How does it work?

Present a library card or photo ID at the Media Services desk for games and controllers. When others are waiting, there is a 1-hour limit. Avaialble to anyone with a library card account in good standing.

Why should I play video games?

According to an article in Library Technology Reports, gaming fosters many different types of learning.

What games do you have? 

Like television and movies, video games have an age-appropriate rating system. The library's collection development policy states that we will only make video games available if they meet the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) criteria for content generally suitable for ages 10 and up (Everyone 10+).
