Events

Interested in library programs or events? Look no further than our Events calendar.

Registration

Not all of our events require registration, but many of them do. This is so that we can accommodate all attendees with supplies, seats, or individual attention. In order to find out if an event requires registration, simply look for events where the title is underlined.

How to Register

1. Click on the EVENTS CALENDAR link on the homepage.
2. Find the event that you are interested in.
3. Click on its title.
4. If there are openings for the event, you will see a Registration box below the event details.
5. Fill in the information requested.
6. Click SUBMIT.
7. A confirmation screen will appear. Please note your confirmation number.

How to Cancel a Registration

1. Either click on the link provided in your confirmation email, or go to the CANCEL REGISTRATION page and enter your LAST NAME and CONFIRMATION NUMBER.
2. If you do not know your confirmation number, simply contact the library.

Personal Schedule

To find out which events you are registered for:

1. Go to Display Personal Schedule.
2. Either enter the CONFIRMATION NUMBER and your LAST NAME and click SUBMIT or enter your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, AND the PHONE NUMBER you entered when you registered and click SUBMIT.
3. A list of all of the events that you are registered for will appear. If you cancelled any registrations, those will also appear in your personal schedule.

Email Notifications for Events

The library is always offering events and programs for the community. If you wish to be notified about upcoming events via email, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the Email Notification System page.
2. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS.
3. Click SUBMIT.
4. Enter your FIRST and LAST NAME, then choose the type of event that you are interested in from the drop-down menu. 
5. Click SAVE.
6. A confirmation screen will appear, letting you know what types of events you will be notified about in the future. You can subscribe to email notifications for all event types that interest you. (Event types include children’s programs, teen programs, book clubs, computer classes, etc.)

FYI: These email notifications are not affiliated with the email notifications you receive about your library account activity. Please refer to the Email & Phone Notices page for more information about My Account notices.

To unsubscribe to event notification emails:

1. Go to the Email Notification System page.
2. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS and click CONTINUE.
3. Click on the DELETE checkbox next to the notifications you no longer wish to receive.
4. Click DELETE PREVIOUS ENTRY(S).
5. If you are interested in subscribing to more notices, simply choose the EVENT TYPE and click SAVE.

RSS feeds for Events

To find out about upcoming events, you can subscribe to the Events calendar RSS feed by clicking on the RSS feed button that appears at the top of all calendar pages. (To find out more about RSS feeds, check out our RSS Feeds 101 slideshow.)
