Computer Guidelines

The Westerville Public Library provides access to the Internet and other electronic services to further our mission of selecting informational and educational resources of value to our community. These services are offered in conformity with the Library Bill of Rights, the Freedom to Read policy, and the Freedom to View policy. The Internet contains many different kinds of material, some of which may be deemed to be of a controversial or offensive nature. Read more

Donations

The library welcomes donations from individuals and groups. The library, however, reserves the right to make a final selection of any materials, which will be added to the collection. The library also reserves the right to withdraw materials from the collection when they are no longer appropriate under the collection policy. Read more

Educator Card

The Educator Card, with its special advantages, is designed to help educators who live or work in the Westerville School District make full use of the library's resources. Read more

Interlibrary Loan

If you need a book that is not in our collection the chances are good that we can borrow that book for you from another library. We participate in a program that allows us to borrow from libraries anywhere in the country. There is no charge for this service. Read more

Internet Access

The Internet is a worldwide network of computers that contains millions of pages of information. Users are cautioned that many of these pages include offensive, sexually explicit, and inappropriate material. In general, it is difficult to avoid at least some contact with this material while using the Internet. Even innocuous search requests may lead to sites with highly offensive content. Read More

Loan Rules

All items must be checked out at the front desk. See Loan Rules for loan periods, limits, and overdue fines. Read more

Media

All Media items, except Art Prints, may be returned 24 hours a day in the two outside book drops, or during library hours at the Media Services Desk. Read more
