I don't want you to contact me. What should I do?

Discontinue emails.

The library utilizes several different systems for sending emails to customers. Your email address may be included in any or all of these systems.

For Holds, Overdues and Reminders

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on "Edit account".
  3. Remove your email address.
  4. Click "Submit".

Note: If you have a phone number listed on your account, you will still receive automated phone notifications instead of emails.

For Events

  1. Go to Email Notification System.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click "Continue".
  4. Click on the "Delete" checkbox next to the notifications you no longer wish to receive.
  5. Click on "Delete Previous Entry(s)". 

For eNewsletters

  1. Go to the Unsubscribe Form.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click "Unsubscribe".

Discontinue phone calls.

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on "Edit account".
  3. Remove your phone number.
  4. Click "Submit".

If your phone number is not listed on your account, or you do not have a library card account with us, contact us. It is possible that your number is inadvertently attached to someone else's account.

Discontinue text messages.

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on "Edit account".
  3. Remove your text message address from the email address field.
  4. Click "Submit".

Note: If you have a phone number listed on your account, you will still receive automated phone notifications instead of text messages.

Remove from print mailing list.

To be removed from the library's print mailing list, contact the Marketing Coordinator at 614-882-7277 ext. 2164.
