Students and teachers, save yourself a trip to the library! Request free delivery of books, movies and music to your school.
Yes, if you are a student, faculty or staff member at a participating school.
All items can be requested for delivery except art prints and wi-fi hotspots. (All cardholder policies and restrictions apply. Learn more.)
With your Westerville Library card, reserve an item. When asked where you would like to pick up your item, select your school.
If you don't have a library card, request an application from your school librarian or office staff, or visit the Westerville Library with your parent or guardian. (For additional privileges, teachers can apply for an educator card.)
When your item's status appears as "ready for pickup", you will receive a notification. Your item will then be checked out to you and delivered to your school, usually within 2 business days.
Each school has a designated area for pickup of library items, oftentimes in the school's library or office on a cart or in a bin. To determine where to pick up your item, check with your teacher, school librarian or office staff.
Including the day it was delivered, your item will remain available for pickup at your school for 7 days. If you do not pick up your item within 7 days, it will be returned to the library and checked in.
In the following instances, items will not be delivered to your school upon request.
Parents and guardians, you can request items for school delivery using a library card issued in your child's name. Your child must then be the one to pick up your item from the school's designated area.
As many as you can carry and for as many as you wish to be financially responsible.
To find out when your item is due, check your online account or contact us.
You can return any items borrowed from the library (except art prints and wi-fi hotspots) to your school's designated area or to the library.
