Friends of the Westerville Public Library

This non-profit organization - comprised solely of volunteers - supports and promotes the continued growth of the Westerville Public Library. Current revenue sources include the Friend's used media sales and gift shop. Recent projects funded by the Friends include two delivery vans totaling $135,000 and yearly initiatives such as the Summer and Winter Reading Challenges.

Gently used books & media at a discounted price are available and all sales benefit the Friends of the Library.

Gift Shop

The shop is managed solely by volunteers with the Friends of the Westerville Public Library and is open on the following days and times.

  • Monday: 10:30am -7pm
  • Tuesday: 11am-4pm
  • Wednesday: 11am-5pm
  • Thursday: 9:30am-4pm
  • Friday: 11am-4pm
  • Saturday: 10am-1pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Note: Hours are subject to change without notice due to volunteer availability.

Donations

The Friends of the Westerville Public Library accept donations of gently used books, movies, and music for resale. Donations can be dropped off near the welcome desk. Donations will be processed by volunteers, then made available for purchase in the gift shop and on the bookcases in the mallway. All profits benefit the library. Tax receipts are available upon request.

Items not accepted: art prints, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, textbooks older than 5 years, VHS tapes, and cassette tapes.
